At our on-site facility, we blend and reliquefy the biosolids so that they can be easily pumped. We then use high-pressure, portable, thick‑walled pipe, giant hose reels, and drag hoses to pump the biosolids to the specific injection site, which could be up to three miles away. Once they reach the site, the biosolids are pumped directly to a drag hose that is attached to the back of our specially designed injector tractors. 100% of the biosolids are injected into the ground at the depth appropriate for the crops growing or to be planted on the site.

This “Closed Loop” system was designed to minimize the objectionable aspects of biosolids by reducing odor and off-site movement by vectors, as well as reducing dust and soil compaction.

In fact, plant responses to applications of biosolids have been so dramatic they have drawn national attention to our land application project and technology. Crop yields on soils with added biosolids are significantly higher than on regular soils.
