Here at Ag Tech LLC, we pride ourselves on keeping our business environmentally friendly and clean. A dozen trucks leave the compound every morning to pick up biosolids from the Southern California and L.A area. We transport biosolids to our facility in Yuma, AZ for land applications.
The biosolids are received in both liquid and dewatered forms in specially designed trailers. Following the National Code of Good Practice, the biosolids are either land-applied by spreading and discing, or re-liquefied and applied via subsurface injection to permitted farm fields. Subsurface injection is Ag Tech's preferred method of land- applying biosolids. Such application is more aesthetically pleasing and reduces vectors and objectionable odors. Subsurface injection also reduces the potential for unauthorized persons to come into contact with the biosolids. After the application of biosolids, the land is prepared for planting using standard farming practices.

At Ag Tech, all of our trucks are sprayed and detailed using reverse osmosis water. Using the best methods and recycling even our own oil shows how much we value having a high standard of business. When our trucks enter the compound, they are first weighed on the scale. Then the biosolids are deposited to one of our mixing facilities. The trucks come back and are cleaned thoroughly, oil is changed if needed, and they are finally refueled before departing.
